Sherbet Shores
Everyone has left to go home for supper, but Mom has let the kids stay well past supper time. It’s time to call it a day. She waves to grab their attention. By the time they get home it will be far too late to make even a quick supper. Maybe a stroll to the Sherbet Shop on their way home will solve that problem. Sherbet with a side of burger and fries.

First day of summer at Sherbert Shores! Friends, separated by distance and a long year of school, finally reunite a with one another. They run to the water, calling out to their faithful friends who never left, “Look out waves! Here we come!”.

It’s another hot and humid day at the beach. The brightness reflecting off the water that you can’t really tell where the sky ends and the water begins. Children always seem oblivious to the glaring sun. No matter how much sunscreen Mom puts on them, there will still be signs of a day at the beach. Billowing clouds move like massive cotton balls on a conveyor belt across the horizon.
