Loving the vibrant colours and overall happy feel of these paintings. This series has been percolating in my imagination for ages and I’m super pleased with how it has turned out.

It’s been so much fun to play with these happy, bright colours. For most of the paintings, the background was done with brushwork and the wildlife done with palette knife. The exceptions were “Here’s Looking at You Kid” (our mischievous little frog) and Elysian Dusk (welcoming lighthouse at dusk).
